EXCEPTIONAL CAMPS
CAMP TAMARACK - Having a good time is conducive to personal development. Fun encourages participation in activities and meets individual needs. To create a comfortable, fun environment the camp programs are designed to teach children but not to pressure them. The staff does not impose expectations on the campers but offer opportunities for the children to test themselves - without the fear of failing. By eliminating this fear, campers are more willing to try new situations.
CAMP MANITOU - At Manitou we want to ensure that campers always have fun, create lasting memories and form unique and special friendships that will follow them for a life-time. It is these friendships that become the greatest benefit of a summer camp experience. WILDERNESS OUTBOUND - Established in 1984, Boundless is dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized youth, adults and children at risk through a unique combination of counselling, social rehabilitation, alternative education and outdoor adventure. Our program strives to prevent crime, promote alternatives to drug abuse and strengthen the bonds of families and communities ravaged by poverty, violence and mental illness. Our mission is to employ a non-traditional approach to education that is sensitive and motivating, and which builds the focus, vision and independence of our participants.
CAMP WANAPITEI - The Wanapitei experience promotes self-reliance, cooperation and personal growth, through community living, team work and challenging canoe trips in Canada's north. Our highly skilled staff has introduced children and young people from around the world to adventures in beautiful and majestic northern landscapes.
